Following last week’s chaotic three-lap race at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, fans and drivers will be rearing to go this weekend for the Dutch Grand Prix.
Half points were awarded at last weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix, and so, Lewis Hamilton remains in the lead with 202.5 points, followed oh so closely by his rival Max Verstappen in second with 199.5.
Lando Norris is in third heading into Round 14 at the CM.com Circuit Zandvoort this Sunday, followed by the second Mercedes driver, Valtteri Bottas in fourth with 108.
Meanwhile, Sergio Perez, who will be keeping his current seat for the 2022 season, closes out the top five in the Driver’s Standings with 104 points.
This weekend’s race will see everyone fighting for vital points after the disruption in Belgium as we head to the Dutch Grand Prix for the first time since 1985.

The Circuit
Ahead of its Formula 1 return, the Circuit Zandvoort underwent a major transformation, and according to officials, the biggest of those changes being the introduction of two banked corners.
The drivers will race around the now 4.252 km track for 77 laps for a total distance of 306.648 km.
The circuit features 14 turns and was designed to be a high-speed and highly technical
Ferrari remains the team with the most wins at Zandvoort from 1949, 1952, 1953, 1961, 1971, 1974, 1977, 1982, 1983, while Jim Clark is the most successful driver at this circuit having been victorious on four occasions.
When/ Where to Watch
Free practice 1 will take place on Friday at the CM.com Circuit Zandvoort on September 3 at 10:30 Irish time, with FP2 taking place hours later at 14:00.
FP3 begins on Saturday, September 4, at 11:00 and will be followed by Qualifying at 14:00.
For the big day on Sunday, September 5, coverage will be on Sky and NOW with lights out at 14:00.
