Fans have been praising the helmet cam being used by Alpine’s Fernando Alonso at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit during Free Practice today.
The onboard camera gives fans the chance to see what their favourite drivers see as they fire through the likes of Raidillon, Eau Rouge, Pouhon and Blanchimont.
It had been trialled with the F3 drivers in recent years, and now that it has migrated over to F1, spectators can’t get enough.
“MORE PLEASE omg,” one wrote on Twitter.
“Thanks a lot Formula E for testing this camera for several years now I’ve been waiting since then to see it in F1, this is awesome,” another said.
“Seriously i really love helmet cam, it’s my fav in formula e and I’m glad to see it in f1!! can we get more pleaseeeee.”
