Daniel Ricciardo secured the win at the Italian GP this afternoon – his first victory since Monaco 2018.
There will be a major cause for celebration in the team garage as Lando Norris came home in second to join his teammate on the podium in the team’s first one-two finish since Canada 2010.
The final step on the podium this afternoon will be filled by Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the race, Ricciardo said; “Wow. To lead literally from start to finish… I don’t think anyone expected that.

“There was something in me on Friday. I knew something good was to come.
“To not only win, but get a one-two – it’s insane. For a McLaren to be on the podium is great let alone a one-two.”
More to follow.
